Coventry UniversityI was always interested in earth science and after my graduation I decided to pursue a master degree from UK because of the various and specialised courses they offer and also the value of the British degree is an additional advantage. But the question was whom to approach. Choosing the right consultancy is really important, especially when a lot of students are mislead these days with fake information. Quitting a well paid job in a respected public sector oil company and coming to UK to pursue higher studies seemed like a very high risk investment at that time. But the staff of Graduate Overseas, Cochin helped me substantially to take this career changing decision. They apprised me of the different courses available in the UK according to my requirements and helped me throughout the application process as well as VISA processing. The staff is very knowledgeable and reliable and has good contacts which makes settling down in a foreign country look like a cakewalk. During my MS in University of Aberdeen, I was working as a Non-medical Personal Assistant in the University itself which involved helping disabled students with daily academic activities like note taking, taking printouts etc. I found the job through the university website and it paid me £10.44 pounds an hour. After completion of my MSc, I have joined a multi national Oil/Gas services company called Intecsea (WorleyParsons) , UK as a Subsea Design Engineer.
